Thomas is a retired educator with 30 years in as an elementary teacher, principal, and superintendent. He's also a lifelong musician with a passion for music and composition. He has given lessons on the piano, guitar—and yes, even the accordion — as well as performed in countless venues for over 60 years.

Winning two Telly Awards, he's also had a career in composing music for film, documentaries, as well as creating jingles for commercials. Thomas brings a unique approach to teaching, a keen understanding of how curious minds learn best, and the know-how to make music both engaging and fun for all his students.
 

He and his wife relocated to the Columbus area in 2023 to be closer to their daughter, son-in-law, and two grand-children.  In between lessons, Thomas enjoys watching his granddaughter who plays softball on a travel team, and his grandson who composes music on his computer.
